SUMMER SOUNDS IN THE CITY

The sound of Atlanta carries on throughout the summer at concerts, events and live music venues. Whether you like to rock out or relax to smooth jazz, you can find an example of every genre. The A has it all and it only gets better with 2023 being the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. This summer’s music lineup is simply on a different level.

Hang with some of hip-hop’s favorites like Drake and 21 Savage as they perform at State Farm Arena July 1 and 2. You can’t miss Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort & More as they take the stage at Lakewood Amphitheatre Aug. 9. The Beyhive is all the buzz as MercedesBenz Stadium prepares for Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour, Aug. 11, 12 and 14. Take a chill pill and vibe out at some of Atlanta’s many breweries and venues. Start by celebrating hip-hop at Atlantucky, a brewery owned by the iconic hip-hop duo Nappy Roots. Bust a move with a glass of beer while enjoying music at some of Atlanta’s best breweries including New Realm Brewing Co., Best-

End Brewing, SweetWater Brewery, Wild Leap Atlanta and Hippin’ Hops Brewery for R & Brews Wednesdays.  Dance it out at Colony Square’s Groovin’ on the Square concert series every Friday from 6-8 p.m. Add The Works to your list for Saturday Sounds or Sunday FUNKday. You can even venture out of the city and hit a home run at The Battery. You might even see one of your favorite artists –  including Bryson Tiller, Jordan Davis, PIXIES, Peso Pluma and many more –  playing at Coca-Cola Roxy Luckily, navigating the music scene is easy in the A. REFRESCATE CON UNA CERVEZA ARTESANAL LOCAL
