Create an orchid collage painting to celebrate the Atlanta Garden’s Orchid Daze exhibition. Work with acrylic paints as a base and build on all sorts of bits and pieces from old books to magazines and even the unexpected medium. Landscape Painting with Palette Knife
Discover how to use the camera you have – no matter how fancy or simple it is. Learn how exposure works and understand aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Spend two hours in the classroom and one hour in the Garden shooting photos (emphasis on spring bulbs, including tulips). Bring the camera you have, including cell phones. This two-hour fun class each day will focus on how to use a palette knife with acrylic paint. Explore the textural possibilities when using a painting knife.
