Shards of Quiet Strength, 2025
Layered leather and clay
Site-specific installation
Shards of Quiet Strength includes leather and clay pieces arranged at the center on the ground and spreading outward toward the edges of the space and wall. A rounded clay form rests at the core, and is partially enveloped by leather pieces whose outward movement suggests a molecular expansion: figures multiplying, flocking, clustering, and dispersing in quiet rhythm.
The installation evokes a sense of collective presence, where unity is found in the harmony of coming together.

Remnants, 2025
Burnt leather
600 x 400 x 800 cm
Monochromatic hues of brown spread across the space, where wrinkled leather fragments extend like a charged network of nerves. Their formation suggests another sort of flocking, echoing motifs in Alghamdi’s lexicon: remnants and residues that gesture toward what has been discarded.
Remnants is an invitation to meditate on grief as it propels memory to course through the exhibition site like a synapse; transmitting what lingers after departure.
