Athens State Univer sity Center for Lifelong Learning is offering vir tual classes this summer for kids and adults. There is something for every one. Classes and camps will be offered via Zoom. A link to access the class or camp will be emailed to students one week prior to the beginning of the camp. Our summer classes for adults will provide an op portunity to earn a certificate this summer. A little investment now will have long term benefits for your career or personal life. The Leadership Certificate Se ries will help you become a more effective leader,
manager, or supervisor, through practical skillbased learning. Develop leadership skills that can benefit you both person ally and professionally by enhancing your knowledge of communication, col laboration, ethics, strategic planning, and innovation. Classes will start June 2. Also being offered this sum mer are Excel for Business, First Time Manager, and Navigating Social Media. Do you feel overwhelmed by a growing list of tasks? Do you have back-to-back work days begin busy but are not get closer to com pleting important projects? In the Time Management Certificate course, you’ll learn ways to take control of your workload by set ting priorities and eliminating common obstacles that stand in the way of increased efficiency and productivity. Class will be June 17. Our summer camps for kids will begin June 1 with Hands Up! Ameri can Sign Language Camp.
This camp will have kids putting their “hands up” exploring American Sign Language (ASL) and learn ing the official language of the Deaf. We will be us ing stories and other activities to learn vocabulary and communication skills

in sign language – which will help kids have a bet ter understanding of deaf culture. By the end of the week you will learn many different signs, tell sto ries and jokes in ASL, and even sign some songs. Yoga for Teens also starts on June 1. Teens will practice beginner level yoga movements to help them physically and mentally. Relaxation techniques help to clear the mind and deal with day-to-day stress. No previous experience required. There is a Yoga for Kids starting June 8. Camps will run through July. Watch for Words Alive! Adventures in Writing and Illustrating Short Stories, Photography for Kids, Hip Hop, and Game Coding Camp.
