THE BEGINNING

Inspired by the lush greenery of beautiful Snowdonia in North Wales, UK, we began by using fresh ingredients to craft natural, premium Cheddar and Red Leicester cheeses that married an extraordinary depth of flavor with a remarkable creaminess.
Our cheeses were an instant success in local markets – and, as we continued our pursuit of incredible flavor, we went on to create even more varieties. Over the years, each cheese has won its own cult following and many have received prestigious awards.

We introduced delicious, handcrafted chutneys too, traditionally made with the finest ingredients using recipes unique to Snowdonia Cheese. Our cheese and chutney range is now enjoyed in over 25 countries around the world.
