Profile Tourism Area

Curug Cilember is one of a famous waterfall tourist which is a leading tourist destination in Cisarua, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Curug Cilember is at valley of Gunung Hambalang Barat at an altitude of 800 – 900 meters above sea level.

Natural Tourism : 7 waterfalls/ waterfalls, pine forest landscapes, mountain rivers, natural views.

Artificial Tourism : Butterfly Dome, Fish Therapy Pool, Camping Ground, etc.

RIVERSIDE SHELTER A.

Curug Cilember has many mountain river paths that cross middle of tourist area. Several shelter designs were made by adapting existing condi tions on riverside, namely by adding a retaining wall in form of a large river rock arrangement. The land on the edge of the river is made of terraces to make it easier for visitors to access river. The roof of riverside shelter adapts a shape of a butterfly's wings as an icon of Curug Cilember tourist area.

MUSHOLA B.

Mushola’s design is made with concept of open space. This aims to increase a peaceful atmosphere that natural environment provides when we pray. Fish ponds as a water design element that completes a series of building components of human life. Thus, when we pray we will be reminded of origin of life that Allah SWT has given.

TOILET D.

Apply a double layer building facade, with bilik bambu material as the first layer to filter visibility to maintain the safety and comfort of tourists when using the toilet. The double layer wall has a slope that adapt basic shape of a camping tent.

OFFICE & INFORMATION CENTER C.

Office is a supporting facility for Perum Perhutani as a tourism area manager. They can function as an information center space. This office is directly adjacent to a ravine which has a beautiful view of the highlands. Outdoor balcony was added along in front office which can also function as a lounge for office employees.

Profile Tourism Area

Gunung Galunggung Tourist Area is one of famous local tourist place in Kabupaten Tasikmalaya (21 KM from Kota Tasikmaya) which is a state forest area managed by Perum Perhutani.

NATURAL TOURISM: Caldera Crater, Pine Forest Landscape, Mountain River Hot Springs, Plateau View.

ARTIFICIAL TOURISM: Hot Springs, Camping Grounds, Glamping, etc.
