WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
We celebrate Women’s History Month to honor the achievements, contributions, and resilience of women throughout history. It sheds light on the often-overlooked impact of women in society, inspires future generations, and highlights the ongoing pursuit of gender equality. Here are some engaging ways to learn more about women’s history!
MOVIERECOMENDATIONS
Hidden Figures- highlights three Black women mathematicians who broke barriers at NASA.
The Iron Lady- A biographical film about the life and career of Margaret Thatcher, the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The Six Triple Eight- showcases an all-Black, all-female WWII battalion that cleared a massive mail backlog.

“Coming into my freshman year at ASU, the idea of making friends was really overwhelming with it being such a big school with so many people. When I walked into the SK house for the first time, I knew I had found where I was meant to be. Here, I have found friends that made ASU feel like home and met people who inspire me and helped me to grow into the person I am today. I’ve met girls who I can see being my friends for life and make me feel comfortable enough to be myself around always. The growth I have made being in SK is like none other I’ve had in my life and it wouldn’t be possible without all the incredible women in here.
