The mission of traditional organisations is to focus on beneficiaries The volunteers are a mean to support that goal Serve the City is all about volunteering We want to help our
to access and lets people find moments that fit into their own schedules In that sense, it reflects the spirit of Serve the City
For the last couple of years as well, we focused on building volunteer communities at our projects Our most successful projects are those where people created a real community It goes beyond the volunteering itself. And they are a very diverse group: from EU expats to Asylum seekers, young professionals to retirees It's a rich mix!
I can imagine that other NGOs would love to see the STC community provide dedicated support for them?
Sure We already work with quite a lot of organisations such as the Belgian Redcross, Samusocial and others, but it is true that many more have contacted us, asking to see how we could help
