Data Science, Analytics and Engineering (PhD) The PhD in data science, analytics and engineering is designed to produce data scientists, analysts and engineers who can manage data and convert it into relevant information for decision making. Students will develop new systems and algorithms as well as draw inferences from high dimension, high volume, heterogenous data streams. Graduates will be proficient in existing methodology and capable of engaging in foundational and applied research with high social impact.

This degree program is a collaboration between the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Our faculty are internationally recognized for their research, methodological and application perspectives but also actively advise students, teach innovation and continuously improve their curriculum.
