GCSP prepares tomorrow’s engineering leaders to solve the grand challenges facing society during the next century

Undergraduate Fulton Engineering students are invited to join the Grand Challenges Scholars Program, a co-curricular program that prepares students to address global societal challenges through developing competencies that impart an ability to see the big picture, consider all aspects of a problem and create value for society. Mentored by faculty and staff, students in the program focus their experiences on the National Academy of Engineering’s Grand Challenges for Engineering through the themes of health, sustainability, security or joy of living.

Scholars complete coursework and/or experiential opportunities to achieve the five competencies of the Grand Challenges Scholars Program and receive recognition from the National Academy of Engineering (NAE):
