Front Desk

For all Front Desk positions (Purser, Day receptionist and night receptionist) the uniform is the same.

Day receptionist and night receptionist: trousers, white shirt, vest, jacket, tie and black shoes.

Skirt, belt, white blouse, jacket and black shoes. On loading days the black trousers can be worn. The uniform can be combined with the pearl earrings and has to be combined with the pearl necklace. Tights have to be in natural color. In regards of the skirts, keep it professional and elegant with the hemline on the knee. The lining of the skirt should not be visible and should not show below the hem line.

Night receptionists have the possibility to wear the warm Uniworld jacket when making the rounds, female night receptionist can wear the black trousers.

Please note, the uniform for the Front desk department looks the same as for the housekeeping department and bartender/sommelier, but it is not the same material. Always order according to the

Housekeeping managers have to wear: Black trousers, belt, black shoes, white shirt, vest, tie and Jacket. During the day when helping in the rooms the jacket does not have to be worn, after 18:00 the jacket always has to been worn.

Black skirt, natural color tights, belt, black shoes, white blouse and jacket. On embarkation days (mornings) and with linen change the black trousers can be worn. The pearls earrings can be worn, and pearl necklace has to be worn.

Housekeepers have to wear during the day the black tunic, black trousers, black shoes. On colder days the black cardigan can be worn. In the evening, the white shirt, black trousers, vest and tie have to be worn.

Over the black skirt comes a small white apron and over de black tunic comes the white collar. This also has to be worn during rooming of the guests on embarkation day. The pearl earrings can be worn, and the pearl necklace has to be worn.
