8 Cool Things About Joining A Coworking Space

Coworking spaces have been around for a while now, but they are starting to get more and more popular. I know that many of my coworkers have joined them over the years because they like the flexibility, community and amenities that they offer. In this article, I am going to talk about some of my favorite things about joining a coworking space.

The office space

One of the best things about working at a coworking space is the office space itself. It's a great place to work, whether you're sharing with other people or renting your own private office.

 Shared Space: Coworkers are always around to collaborate with and bounce ideas off of and even though this can be distracting at times, it also helps spark new ideas!

 Private Offices: Sometimes all you need is some quiet time with yourself and your laptop; if that sounds like something that would work for your workflow, then renting a private office might be just what you're looking for. Some coworking spaces offer phone booths as well; these little rooms offer privacy while still keeping everything else close

by so that no matter what happens in my day-to-day life outside this room (or booth), there's always someone nearby who knows where I am in case anything goes wrong."

The events

Coworking spaces are a great place to network. You can meet new people and learn new skills, especially if you take advantage of the events that many coworking spaces offer. Events include:

 Socials These are usually happy hours or other social gatherings that offer opportunities for you to get to know other members of your coworking community.

 Classes Coworking spaces often host classes on topics like coding, design, marketing and more! These classes give you the opportunity to expand your skill set while also meeting some pretty cool people who might become valuable contacts in your career or personal life.

 Meetups--Meetups are scheduled events where members from different organizations come together to discuss topics related with their field/interest (like web development).

The networking opportunities

The networking opportunities are the best part of joining a coworking space. You'll meet other people in your industry, learn from them and make new friends. You can also get a job, mentor or business partner through this type of collaborative environment.

The community

You'll get to know people from different industries.

Coworking spaces have a community, and you'll be a part of that community. This means that you can talk to other like-minded individuals who share your passions and interests, and even make new friends! You might also learn about cool events going on in your city or elsewhere. A coworking space is a great place for networking because it gives people the chance to work together in an open environment where everyone has access to resources like wifi internet and printers (which are sometimes hard to find at home).

The flexibility

Flexibility is one of the biggest benefits of coworking. You can choose to work from home or at a coworking space, and sometimes you might even want to change things up by going somewhere else.

For example, if you're working on an urgent project and need a quiet place where you can focus without distractions, it might make sense for you to go into a library or coffee shop for a few hours in order to get things done. Or maybe there's an important meeting later in the day that requires your attendance but also has limited seating in this case, working from home could be

perfect because it allows freedom in terms of setting up appointments around other people's schedules (and locations).

One of the biggest benefits of joining a coworking space is the amenities. A good coworking space will have all of the things you need to get your job done, from catering and meeting rooms to conference rooms and lounges. They'll also offer breakout areas where people can gather for impromptu meetings or just to relax with other coworkers over coffee or lunch.
