History of the Stenberg Cup
After working 12 years for Astor Services for Children & Families, Shirley Stenberg died of cancer in 1995. Only three years later her husband, Ronald Stenberg, passed away unexpectedly. Their daughters, Carol Brundle, Sharon Dunbar, Lisa Edgerton, and Lynne Silva, decided to establish a golf tournament in honor of their parents’ dedication to Astor and the Rhinebeck community.
