SINGLE WHY CHOOSE A
GENDER EDUCATION?
In an all-boys environment, every student is encouraged to step forward, find his voice, and discover his potential. With countless opportunities to lead, participate, and grow, students build the confidence and character to succeed in college and beyond.
I wanted to go to a school where the teachers care about you as a person outside of just your grades. I made some of the best friendships in my life at O'Dea and I know they will last long after graduation. Attending O’Dea was the best choice of my life. – Quincey Brown ‘25
ACADEMICS
PURPOSE WITH
CHALLENGING MINDS. FORMING MEN.
At O'Dea, academics are about preparing for college and discovering potential, building character, and developing the skills and confidence to lead with purpose. Rooted in our Catholic faith and Edmund Rice tradition, O'Dea challenges young men to think critically, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and engage meaningfully with the world around them. Our rigorous college preparatory curriculum is designed to stretch every student while providing the support, mentorship, and relationships necessary for success. At O'Dea High School your son will encounter teachers who know him, challenge him, and inspire him to achieve more than he thought possible.
Supporting Every Learner From Educational Support Service to Advanced Placement and dual-credit opportunities through Seattle University, O'Dea provides pathways for students of diverse learning needs, interests, and aspirations. No matter where a student begins, our goal is the same: to help him grow into a confident scholar, compassionate leader, and man of character, faith, and service.
BROTHERHOOD
SUCCESS SUPPORTS
CLASS IN THE
ROOM
What makes O'Dea different is that teachers genuinely know you. They challenge you to work harder, believe in yourself, and become the best version of who you can be. I left O'Dea prepared for college, leadership, and life. – O'Dea Graduate
BONDS BROTHERHOOD
ARE BUILT
HOUSE IN THE
SYSTEM
At the heart of O’Dea is our House System, where every student belongs to one of four Houses—Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick, or Waterford—united as “Four Houses, One Brotherhood.” Through daily Mentor Groups and House activities, students build meaningful relationships across grade levels and a strong sense of belonging within the O’Dea community. Leadership is an important part of the O’Dea experience, with more than 80 leadership opportunities available to students across all grade levels. From the start of their O’Dea journey, students are encouraged to step into leadership roles and make a meaningful impact.
I didn’t know anyone coming into O’Dea but the transition of meeting people was so easy. Being able to connect with people from all over the area and all different backgrounds is amazing. – Hutton Leverett ‘26
BROTHERHOOD
EXTENDS THROUGH ATHLETICS
Introducing O’Dea’s newest addition: Kohler Field! More than just a place to play, Kohler Field provides a dedicated outdoor space for all O’Dea students and teams to practice, compete, connect, and build Brotherhood.
At O’Dea, athletics is so much more than just games and practices. It’s where character and relationships are built. – Monte Kohler, Athletic Director

While rooted in the Catholic tradition, we welcome students of all backgrounds and help them grow in their beliefs through reflection, retreats, and community service to help others.
The lessons learned through Catholic education go beyond religion itself and focus on becoming a better man and contributing positively to the people around me.” – Max Speller ’27
