27 young people from 4 different countries reflecting on the European citizenship in combination with art-street theatre. In the first part of the Youth Exchange we will focus on discussions about participation in local environment, active citizenship and social responsibility (where, how, who...). Participants will be encouraged to express their knowledge and finding ways to promote active participation in the society. Each participant will be able to suggest a local, national or global problem or his challenge. Participants will have the opportunity to give clear expression of their opinions and ideas. Reflection, debate, informal conversations will be preparation for the second part of the exchange, focused on how to provoke debate and get people to respond to active participation in the society. Implementation will follow with street theatre method. Where participant will do workshop about street theatre and will implement it in the public and random passers-by to attract them to talk about active participation through art, volunteering and benefits of participation to society. ∞ EUROPEAN YOUTH EXCHANGE ∞ ERASMUS+ YOUTH PROGRAMME 2015 ∞

The target g roup: young people between 18 and 30 years of age Objectives of the exchange: • to communicate with art • to draw attention to the cultural differences • to provide information, share best practice and experience • to improve social, personal and professional skills • exchange methods of communication with/through street theatre • intercultural learning through creative art- street theatre • to promote the idea of European citizenship • to promote the programme “Erasmus+” as a useful tool for future projects
MA RIBOR - SLOVENIA Maribor is the second largest Slovenian city. It’s small cozy with only a few more than 100 thousand inhabitants. It is the capital of Stajerska, which is one of the sunniest regions in the country. It is the city with the oldest wine tree in the world, a charming old part of the town and Pohorje, which offers miles of slopes for skiing in winter and lines for downhill riders. From 1254, when Maribor as the original settlement below the castle next to the river Drava, was first mentioned, to a holder of the title of European Capital of Culture 2012, the European Youth Capital 2013, twelve times national champion in football, development of the Golden Fox (ski World Cup for Women) and many other festivals. Maribor is in the Central Europe.You can go on day trips to Budapest, Bratislava,Vienna,Venice, Prague, Zagreb and Trieste or only after a few hours of driving and take a swim in the Adriatic Sea.

Costs The organizers will cover 100% of expenses for food, accommodation, activities, local travel. TRAVEL COST FROM ITALY TO SLOVENIA WILL BE REIMBURSED: MAX € 170 (EC distance calculator)
