I served for 24 years taking me to 5 continents and included large periods of time in the Middle East in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon and also I served in Colombia and Haiti immediately after the terrible Earthquake in 2010. I was a Military Policeman, but my main role was providing close protection duties to high ranking military officers, political personalities / ambassadors. I loved most of my service and met and worked with the greatest and most weird people on the planet.

I served with 1 Tactical Policing Squadron, protecting assets, people, aircraft and cargo in many hostile locations worldwide. My career took me to every corner of the globe and I made some fantastic memories whilst doing so. I am very proud of my service and the skills I’ve learnt whilst serving. Before I joined up, I was a young, naïve and dependant 18 year old boy. It very quickly turned me into a man. My entire adult life is shaped by the military and I am proud of the man I am today.
