MORE SCOPE FOR SPACE. Enjoy the benefits of a variable interior configuration. The GLS has a luggage capacity of up to 2400 litres. To utilise this to the full, the backrests of the second and third seat rows can be individually or jointly folded down at the touch of a button. The rear end can be conveniently lowered for easy loading. Thanks to the third seat row, you can share the special travelling experience with up to seven people.

With the separately adjustable, individual comfort seats1, every journey becomes a luxurious experience. The MBUX high-end rear entertainment system1, offering as it does two touchscreens, provides numerous options for entertainment, information and communication.

Travel in relaxed style and arrive well-rested: with the multicontour rear seats1, passengers on the outer seats in the second row enjoy the same enhanced comfort as the driver and front passenger, thanks to four massage programs, each with two intensity levels and ten pressure points in the backrest. More legroom is provided in the second seat row, which can likewise be electrically adjusted with ease.

Burmester® high-end 3D surround sound system.

With the 29 speakers and 1610 watts system output of the Burmester® high-end 3D surround sound system1, you can enjoy a unique listening experience in the new GLS. Sophisticated vehicle noise compensation (VNC) dynamically adapts music and tones to your driving situation, while the set-up assistant uses an innovative algorithm to determine your musical preferences and adjust the Burmester® sound system to suit your wishes.

With the latest generation of MBUX telematics, both the hardware and software of the infotainment system in the GLS have made a major leap into the future. Whether open or closed: with the panoramic sliding sunroof1, you experience an exhilarating feeling of freedom and enjoy a pleasantly bright ambience in the interior. When viewed from the outside too, the large sliding sunroof makes a superb visual impression, as it lends lightness and exclusivity to the exterior.

Enjoy an exceptionally low level of noise while on the move. The sound insulation of the Acoustic Comfort Package1 significantly reduces exterior noise. There is therefore nothing to disturb relaxed conversations, even when driving at high speeds. The quiet atmosphere also promotes concentration, enabling you to arrive at your destination in a relaxed state.
