Africa Twin nær nýjum hæðum In 2017, the Africa Twin broke the record for the highest altitude reached by a twincylinder motorcycle. After 5 days of acclimatisation, a team of 5 five riders piloted the Africa Twin onto the slopes of the world’s highest active volcano, the Nevado Ojos del Salado – located between Argentina and Chile. Reaching 5,965 metres above sea level, the international team completed its ascent within 24 hours with Africa Twin specially equipped with Termignoni exhaust, revised final sprockets, new Metzeler MC360TM tyres and a range of Honda genuine accessories, Their route took them – in temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees Celsius – through broken asphalt, gravel, mud, sand and finally stretches of ice pockets known as ‘penitentes’, underlining once again the Africa Twin’s credentials as the best-performing off- road motorcycle in its class.

The skid plate consists of a 2.5 mm thick aluminum plate with excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Since 2013, The Bike Shed London is a motorcycle exhibition like no other celebrating the creative culture around the custom bike scene. It is there that Keita Mikura, the Rebel’s Project Leader, was inspired to create a new kind of machine for young riders, leaving free space for further customization.

In 2017, the Rebel concept became reality and reached another level, thanks to the vision and the craftsmanship of 2 Brits: Dan Gold, a tattoo artist and Russ Brown, a custom bike builder.

RIDE WITH STYLE Read the owner’s manual thoroughly. Get to know your machine and its capabilities. Concentration assists anticipation. Observe other road users’ movements.

Brake in plenty of time. Always wear a helmet and quality kit, ride fit and NEVER after drinking alcohol. Good roadcraft and courtesy identify the skilled and stylish rider. Honda endorse the law that all helmet visors must comply with BS 4110. Visors that transmit less than 50% of visible light cannot legally be used on the road.

CUSTOMIZED PARTS IMPORTANT NOTICE Please read carefully before purchasing any Customized Parts.

The manufacturer and distributor of each Customized Part guarantees and warrants the function, performance, and quality as detailed with the Customized Part. Customized Parts must be correctly attached or fitted in compliance with the laws and regulations.

It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner/user to ensure the Customized Parts are correctly attached or fitted to help ensure the safe use of the vehicle, the safety of the vehicle user and others.

You must read carefully and follow the instructions in the Instruction Manual/Leaflet attaching/fitting as instructed. Please make sure to conduct an inspection prior to riding the vehicle, in addition to regular maintenance checks.

If you have any queries about the attachment/fitting, please contact the dealership where you purchased the Customized Parts.

If you experience any abnormalities during the ride, please stop immediately and arrange for an inspection at a dealership.

In any absence of any negligence or breach of duty by us, the use of such Customized Parts is at your own risk. This will not affect your statutory rights.
