1.Bloggers / Influencers most times feel that people who aren’t in the blogging social media world don’t really “get” what they do. Lets face it unless your lucky enough to connect with other in this space its a lonely world of self employment. Single lunch dates and Yoga pant retreats for one. Alt is the perfect place to connect with other hard working women.

2. This was a big take away for me this year and the lesson was to THROW OUT THE NUMBER CRUNCHING and start connecting. Brands really don’t care about your traffic numbers Brands prefer an engaged, loyal audience over a massive one. So get building relationships.

How do you stay motivated ? Hearing from my clients and members of my tribe keeps me motivated. The stories of little ways they're turning the volume up in their lives and their approach to celebrating more is hugely impactful. I get to hear things like "I didn't think regular people could have parties like this!" or "This was the first time I enjoyed planning a party. You made it so easy!" Keeps me going!

What inspires you? My childhood was magical. My mom was always creating little moments and memories for us. I knew that was a priority for me when I became a mom. I get to pass those same traditions down and find little ways to celebrate the little moments with my kids, and I am always inspired by their creativity and excitement.

What is your definition of success? Waking up excited to work everyday. I love my job and while it's hard and can be frustrating at times, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I get to help women gift their loved ones with cherished memories and experiences using my creative gifts and talents. I am incredibly grateful for that! Doing all that while being home with my family is the icing on the cake. launching the podcast and the impact that's made on so many families. I get emails and messages from moms that tried an idea and were amazed at how much fun they had with their kids. It doesn't have to be time-consuming! Having my business story featured in Forbes and having my daughter's 5th birthday party featured in Mingle Magazine and walking up to see it at Barnes and Noble wasn't too shabby either!

What is one piece of advice you can give to other entrepreneurs? Don't follow the standard advice for everything. I started my business from a bit of a renegade standpoint, and I stand by that today. What makes businesses excel at being different is just that - they are run differently. Find creative ways to solve problems that aren't cookie-cutter answers. That's where the real beauty is in your own business.

How do you stay motivated ? Motivation comes in many forms. My customers and the stores that carry my products rely on me to come up with new and relevant ideas on a regular basis. That in itself is a huge motivator, because I certainly don't want to let anyone down. There are also enough heavy card "seasons" and holidays that keep me motivated to come up with fresh, new designs so that my customers will always have options to choose from.

What inspires you? I get inspired by all of the many talented calligraphers and lettering artists out there. There is always room for improvement, and always time to try new things. I am endlessly inspired!

What is one piece of advice you can give to other entrepreneurs? Be patient. Learn as much as you can about your craft. Education, education, education is vital. Surround yourself with like-minded people that can pour into you while on your journey is very important. Don't share everything with everyone.

What inspires you? Wow, so many things: nature, beautiful objects, other strong women, traveling around the world and being exposed to different cultures and customs.

How do you stay motivated ? I stay motivated by the company that I keep. I align myself with like minded people to help to keep me focused and on target of the goals that I've set for myself.

Tell us a little more about you and your story. I'm just a girl who got laid off of her job in the event industry and had to figure out how to make money without having to go back to the soul sucking vortex of corporate life! I needed to feed my 3 kids, keep shoes on their feet, and make sure my family could pay the bills! I knew I had to get visible and valuable fast in order to create a sustainable online business.

What inspires you? I'm incredibly inspired by transformation. When I see someone working hard, making modifications, learning, and discovering themselves in the process... I literally fire up inside!

What is next for your business? 2019 is the year of opportunities. We've already opened The Further Faster Plan, 25 international local meetups, 8 councils, and we'll be launching mentorship programs, inperson work retreats, an online summit, and international trade holidays! How do you stay motivated ? I wake up every day and just do it.. I don't really think much about it anymore. I'm a strict organized person and I just put my head down and work!

I only shoot iconic heirloom portraits. Portraits that leave behind a legacy of love. I adore …. bold, fearless, empowering images that hold in stasis a moment of pure love. Emotional images that capture and hold your gaze! You know that moment.. that moments in your memory.. fleeting like a wispy white cloud.. a quick glance.. a small tear.. a crooked smile and laughter that makes your eyes water… those are the moments I capture.
