WE ARE PEAK ADVENTURES ASI Peak Adventures is an outdoor adventure provider for Northern California. We are dedicated to providing adventure education and leadership development opportunities for all ages. We have been guiding people on outdoor adventures since 1989 and have become the most unique, diverse, and affordable outdoor recreation provider within the Sacramento Valley.

OUR MISSION To enrich the Sacramento State learning experience through adventure education and leadership development.

OUR HISTORY In the early 1970’s, two Sacramento State students felt that the campus needed a tool co-op: a place for students to share tools in order fix their bikes conveniently and affordably. This tool co-op eventually began renting other outdoor equipment and became known as Mountain Wolf Sports. In 1989, the program was picked up and designated a program of Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) and the program became known as Peak Adventures. Today, Peak Adventures employs eight professional staff plus over fifty student and non-student staff members as outdoor trip leaders, ropes course facilitators, bike shop mechanics, and front desk staff who serve thousands of customers each year.

TRIP ACTIVITY LEVELS Most of our trips are intended for beginners but some offer more of a physical challenge than others. The higher the activity level, the greater the challenge. If you are concerned with the level of any trip, we are happy to discuss the challenges with you to help you decide if the trip is a good fit. For full activity level information please visit Peakadventures.org
