ATJ was founded in Boulder, CO in 1987. ATJ has always been inspired by passion, diversity, discovery, human connections, different cultures and what the profound power of travel brings to the very fabric of our souls as a global community.
We’re an owner-managed company and a team of Asia travel experts with a passion for our region. The exceptional quality of service that ATJ provides is a direct reflection of the quality of our staff in the field and our Travel Experts and Team in our office.
We are a well-educated, committed and diverse group. Our current staff have been with ATJ an average of almost 20 years. We have traveled to upwards of 30 countries combined and sometimes multiple times. We travel to the Asia and Pacific region frequently, renewing our knowledge solidifying our bulletproof local relationships and earning our titles as true travel experts.
We answer your phone calls, we respond to emails. We have access to the best resources in the industry in terms of travel advice and support like passports and visas, travel insurance, health and safety including up to date entry requirements and vaccinations guidelines, air routing, best air carriers and the list goes on. We also have an in-house air specialist whose main goal is to chase down and book the best pricing and routing for your adventure.

HOW MANY PIECES OF LUGGAGE CAN I BRING? WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Baggage restrictions vary by airline. Many carriers to the Asia/Pacific region allow 2 checked bags per person, and each bag is allowed to weigh a maximum of 50 lbs. for a total of 100 lbs. We give back! The ATJ Foundation invests in a variety of carefully selected relief work initiatives that support grassroots assistance in Asia and the Pacific to very specific projects to aid in health, safety and rebuilding on the heels of natural disasters and unexpected adversities.
