4 Days 3 Nights Catholic Pilgrimage Tour Package
Day 1: TRANSFER FROM YOGYAKARTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (YIA)
Welcome to JogjaUpon your arrival at YIA Kulonprogo, our guide will meet and greet you. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Day 2: BOROBUDUR TOUR - THE CAVE OF MARIA SENDANGSONO - SHOPPING MALIOBORO (B, L, D)
In the morning, we will visit Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Our package includes an entrance ticket to the temple's courtyard, but if you wish to climb to the top, there will be an additional fee of RM 100 per person, pending ticket availability
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will head to the Cave of Maria Sendangsono, built in 1974 and known as the Lourdes of Indonesia.
On our way back to Jogja, we’ll shop at Beringharjo traditional market and along Malioboro street, where you can find batik, local snacks, Javanese herbs, rattan ornaments, and handicrafts
Dinner will be at a local restaurant.
Day 3: CITY TOUR - THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS – SUNSET PARANGTRITIS BEACH
After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour starting with the Kraton, the royal palace of the Sultan.
Then, we will visit Taman Sari, the water castle.
Our next stop will be Kotagede to witness a hundred-year-old tradition practiced by local silver craftsmen.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant
After that, we will explore the Ganjuran Church, known as The Sacred Heart of Jesus, a Roman Catholic church that uniquely blends Javanese culture with its architecture, including Hindu-style temples resembling Prambanan. These temples feature statues of Mary and Jesus depicted as Javanese royalty, adorned in exquisite batik. Finally, we will enjoy a beautiful sunset at Parangtritis Beach before dinner at a local restaurant
You will have free time before being transferred to YIA Kulonprogo for your departure.
