the Philippine National Police (PNP) has identified the prime suspect of the roxas night market bombing that killed 14 people and injured more than 60 last friday, september 2 in Davao City. PNP chief Director General ronald Dela rosa said on thursday, september 8, that the main suspect was identified by the two massage therapists who survived the explosion. Last Wednesday, september 7, the police has released both an artist sketch and computer image of the suspect who left the bag containing the bomb. Dela rosa said the suspect was “positively identified” by the witnesses after they were presented portraits showing facial features at the course of the investigation he also mentioned that the background check done by the investigators and intelligence agents fitted the earlier claims of bomb experts saying the improvised explosive device (IeD) was similar to the signature of bombs from Central mindanao. the IeD in the Davao bombing used mortar and a cellular phone as the detonating device, similar to the bomb-making style of international terrorist Zulkifli Bin hir, alias marwan, who was slain during an operation in mamasapano, maguindanao last year. the PNP chief added that the identification of the suspect only boosts their theory that the bomber’s cohorts were possibly involved in the illegal drug activities in Central mindanao. “this only further reinforced our theory of narco-terrorism because before the blast
