Jacket removal Ashtead Technology are industry leaders in developing solutions that safely and efficiently remove complex offshore jacket structures minimising risk while maximising operational efficiency. Using our market-leading abrasive cutting technology, jacket legs can be severed internally below the mudline to achieve a clean, precise and controlled removal. Our pile dredge systems enable effective belowmudline access, supporting full and safe severance of jacket legs during decommissioning. When internal cutting isn’t an option due to access limitations, we offer a range of alternative cutting solutions including Diamond Wire Saws, Chop Saws and Hydraulic Shears - all engineered and maintained in-house by our cutting experts.

FPSO disconnect Ashtead Technology delivers safe, efficient and reliable FPSO disconnection solutions purpose-built for complex offshore decommissioning and field reconfiguration projects. Our combined suite of ROV-friendly cutting tools is designed to safely cut risers and bend stiffeners as close to the FPSO hull as possible, providing a precise, controlled approach that minimises residual lengths and simplifies recovery. Our Ring Saw is specifically designed for restricted access locations and excels at cutting elastomer bend stiffeners, steels, coatings and other materials at depths of up to 3,000 m. Its compact, slimline design, maximises cut penetration while minimising hydraulic and deck space requirements, allowing fast, back-to-back cuts without the need for deck recovery. With our track record and adaptable tooling capability, Ashtead Technology gives operators the confidence to execute FPSO disconnect operations safely and efficiently.

Pipeline cutting and recovery Ashtead Technology provides specialist subsea pipeline recovery solutions using purpose-built tools to safely lift and remove infrastructure from the seabed. Our pipeline grabs are designed for secure handling of a wide range of sizes and weights, enabling efficient recovery operations with minimal seabed disturbance. Mattress recovery Ashtead Technology provides a complete subsea mattress recovery service designed to efficiently locate, lift and retrieve concrete mattresses from the seabed. At the heart of this service is our Mattress Recovery Tool, engineered for reliable performance. The system features offset sliding carriages for variable clamping widths and independently operated tines to accommodate a wide range of mattress sizes. Integrated cameras and survey equipment ensures accurate mattress location, while onboard thrusters enhance manoeuvrability. Wrap-around ROV grab bars make handling simple and secure. Operated via a single umbilical for full power and control, the solution enables streamlined mattress recovery operations that reduces vessel time and improves offshore efficiency.
