D E S I G N  I NT E N T The functional environment—how the campus works—falls within the domain of a wellconceived Facilities, Strategic Plan that must properly resolve such issues as the amount and type of spaces needed for academic, research and other programs; how that space is assembled into buildings; building placement upon campus land; transportation networks; site development, and much more. T h e f u n c t i o n al e n v i r o n m e n t i s n o t s t a t i c . I t must be dynamic so the University can meet the changing needs of its constituents. Thus, there is the need for the Facilities Strategic Plan to be made current on a regularly scheduled basis.

Environment and Water  Management & Research  Institute is an institution  that aims to strengthen  water and environmental  governance and climate  change resilience throug h unlocking the potential  of communities and insti tutions to manage their  natural resources equita bly and sustainable.


A Villa, located in Bengaluru, constructed for the Director's of the Institution. Construction is done using compressed mud blocks, soil is obtained from the site excavation ( CSEB).

Design Intent META ARCHITECTURE : Principles of the design is to adapt to the regional/vernacular architecture and reincarnate itself as embodiment of contemporary expression instilled with traditional wisdom. The main identity of the building is an outcome of the interplay between the older principles and newer materials.

07 C O N T A I N E R C A F E


Concept Shipping container architecture is a form of architecture using  steel intermodal containers (shipping containers) as structural element. It is also referred to as cargotecture. The main architectural element utilizes shipping containers for structural components. Vine cafe is located in Fort Kochi, Kerala, located right next to the very famous Pepper House. The cafe consist of two viewpoints, one facing the streets of Fort Kochi & the other overlooking the waterfront.

Using Rhinoceros 3D software following designs & building were developed as a part of Digital Architecture Studio.


Waffle Pavilion was the part of parametric design created by taking inspiration from Metropol Parasol Mushrooms of Seville, Spain
