Music Notes: By: Ashley Sosis “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23 Let me tell you, it takes all of these gifts to prepare three handbells pieces and one youth choir song for today! I am thrilled to share with you the fruits of two months of rehearsal, all at once, this morning as our Canterbury Bells Handbell ensemble plays all three movements of the piece Trilogy for Handbells by Philip M. Young and our St. Cecilia Youth Choir sings “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God” from memory. What I can’t share with you this morning is what we gained from the process—those gifts are our to keep, but they are along the same lines as the fruit of the Spirit. Through completing this challenge together, our Lord has given us love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Many thanks to our three new Canterbury Bells members Maggie Burch, Anna Grace Jordan Madeline Hawver, and Sandra Lucas-Hyde and our new St. Cecilia Choir members Joy Cook, Maggie Elliot and Georgia Monckton. 2

Worship Blue Christmas: Although Christmas is a time of celebration for most of us, for some of us it can be a sad reminder of what has been lost – whether it is a loved one, a job, or good health. On Tuesday December 8 th at 12pm, Trinity will hold a Blue Christmas Service including readings, music, candle lighting, and silence in the Chapel for those who may not be feeling the joy of the season.
Music Lending Library: The Choir room now has a collection of over 250 CDs of Classical, Jazz and World music CDs. If you are interested in borrowing a CD to play at home or in your car, please come to the Choir room and sign something out. Parents: Widely varied music played in your home is great for the development of your kids of any age!

The only way that the church will know of your hospitalization is if you, a friend, or family member call the Parish Office to alert us. Please Wear Your Name Tag!: Trinity is blessed by having beautiful name tags that have been cross-stitched and laminated for long life. Indeed, they will last a very long time if they just sit in the rack, never being handled or clipped onto clothing! New members find it very helpful to put names with faces, and visitors welcome such an effort on our behalf. As Trinity attracts more new families and individuals, it is most important that all parishioners wear their nametags each Sunday. Annual Christian Haitian-American Partnership Fundraiser Our goal is to raise enough money to support education and nutrition programs to over 1,000 Haitian children. Prayerfully help us raise $150,000 to provide food, medical care, and education to the children in need. There are numerous sponsorship opportunities to partake in!
