Ashland and Beaverdam celebrate independence in grand style

A highlight of the Ashland 4th of July Parade is the Lawn Chair Brigade, above. At right, the Patriotic Bike Brigade rolls through the streets of Ashland at the parade. The annual celebration is sponsored by the Hanover Arts & Activities Center. Drum majorette Corinne Luck, center in the photo below, leads the cacophony of the Universe Marching Band.
