Industrial Revitalization Funding (IRF) grant it was awarded by the DHCD in January 2015 to support a nonprofit revitalization plan for the Ashland Theater. Ashland originally received the grant funding based on a $25,000 Feasibility Study
conducted by Waukeshaw Development that structured the Ashland Theater revitalization project around a for-profit plan. Waukeshaw Development’s proposal sought to utilize the IRF grant in conjunction with $500,000 of the town’s own

ICHMOND — Haley E. Shufflebarger and Elizabeth “Libby” M. Klinger, both from Hanover County, are serving as pages in the Virginia House of Delegates for the 2016 legislative session for the 55th District. Shufflebarger is a ninth grade homeschool student and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Shufflebarger of Mechanicsville. She is a member of the National Junior Art Honors Society (NJAHS) and the Beta Club. She also is a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church.
She volunteered for 40 hours last year in Del. Fowler’s office to learn more about the legislative process. Klinger served as a page during the 2015 legislative session and was selected this year to return again and serve as head page during the 2016 House of Delegates session. She is the daughter of Hans and Anne Leigh Klinger. She is a ninth grader at Patrick Henry High School where she participates in the Pre-International Baccalaureate classes. She is a member of Mu Alpha Theta math honor society and also plays field hockey for Patrick Henry.
