ICHMOND – A special kickoff event for the firefighters’ annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign
for the Muscular Dystrophy Association was held Monday, July 27, at the James Center Plaza in Richmond. Hanover Fire-EMS was represented along with members of the City of Richmond Fire and Emergency Services,

ASHLAND – As the senior member of Ashland Town Council, Faye O. Prichard has clarified some points from the July 21 meeting pertaining to the Ashland Main Street Association. In the July 29 edition of The Hanover Local, she had responded to fellow council member Steve
Trivett, who had asked about the $20,000 given to the Main Street group in the consent agenda. Prichard described her fellow council member as being “totally vigilant about anything that we spend money on in the town. If there’s a dollar amount attached to it, he wants to know where it went.
