More than 100 impasssioned citizens came to speak tto the Hanover County Board oof Supervisors last week in rresponse to continuing county debate over transgender and d nonbinary inclusive policies in n Hanover County Public Schools H (HCPS). The crowd of visitors sswarmed the meeting room in rresponse to a Hanover County SSchool Board decision to engage Alliance Defending Freedom A (ADF) for legal review of the ccurrent HCPS “equal educattional opportunities” policy. ADF is a Christian legal aadvocacy group “committed to protecting religious freedom, p ffree speech, marriage and familly, parental rights, and the sancttity of life,” according to ADF’s website. w
