A well-meaning but slightly unhinged music teacher treats an unwitting geography class to a surprise music lesson. She tries to inspire a worldly opinion (her worldly opinion) on a class of unsuspecting developing young men.

Tackling the big issues of the world, her songs such as "Key Changes for Africa", "Puberty Express" and "Moustache Paradise" make for a hilarious off-kilter performance that brings to mind the likes of Tim Minchin and Flight of the Conchords.

Actress Hayley Sproull is Wellington's latest, greatest comedy talent, winner of Best Newcomer at the 2012 New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards Most Promising Newcomer 2013 and the People’s Choice Award NZ Fringe 2014.

Miss Fletcher Sings the Blues, combines the classical piano training and observational humour of an emerging, valiant comedian.

Throughout the show, Miss Fletcher

employs her musical ability and relentless pursuit for connection to dig herself out of a lot of self-created holes; and the holes are deep.

As she continues to obliviously tread through topics such as racism, homosexuality and Zambia, her inappropriate escapades lead to a passionate crescendo, where the term ‘do as I say, not as I do’ could never be more fitting.
