Ronald McDonald House rules and fundraising concerns upset Mid Cantabrians Patricia McLaren is one of life’s good sorts. The Ashburton grandmother has proven that by raising $35,000 for Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch to help part fund accommodation for sick Ashburton kids and their families. Wrong. McLaren’s money doesn’t appear to have gone to Ashburton children or families because they’re no longer eligible to stay at the charity house.
