Manager James McKenzie and his wife Debs McKenzie accepted the honour at the fourth annual World Ski Awards in Kitzbühel, Austria, on Saturday. McKenzie described the win, the second in a row for the ski area, as an “absolute honour”, adding he was receiving the award on behalf of the ski area’s “awesome team”. Free skiing, perhaps on the quad, would be complemented by a sausage sizzle, and it would be snow permitting. “It’s all about having a bit of fun to celebrate the win,” Urquhart said. Currently there was enough snow on the mountain for skiing from the quad chairlift after post-season snowfalls.
