Ashburton College principal Grant McMillan has smashed a student fight club at the school. Over the past two weeks students have been bringing boxing gloves to the college and sparring with each other during break times. Mr McMillan said while there were no injuries the situation was being taken very seriously because of the potential dangers involved. Fight clubs will not be tolerated, he said.
