Labour MP Jo Luxton has accused National MP Andrew Falloon of “scaremongering” as coalition talks proceed towards formation of a new government. Falloon beat Luxton in the election race for the Rangitata seat, but Luxton made it into Parliament as a List MP. Personally, Thomas wanted to see the age retained at 65. “He’s in a strong position to negotiate,” Thomas said. Peters is also expected to win key concessions around the SuperGold card, which he wants to extend to a comprehensive e-wallet providing discounts on healthcare and maybe even power bills.
