Local farmers are being reminded to put safety first following two serious incidents last week. Both Federated Farmers and WorkSafe are urging farmers to think about winter conditions and risks, after two Mid Canterbury farms were the scenes of serious machinery accidents and subsequent Westpac Rescue Helicopter visits last Friday.
