As part of our boarding provision, each evening we perform a thorough hand over between Matron, the Head of Boarding, and the lead member of boarding staff that night.

Please email matron@ashfoldschool.co.uk if there are any changes or additions to boarders’ medical records or if there are any extra medications that need to be given during the boarding evening. If boarders have inhalers or medications in school, these will be administered if required.

Any medication needed for a boarding night must be dropped off at the surgery that morning. At this time, required consent forms can also be completed, if necessary.

All of our boarding staff are well trained to deal with any instances needing first aid and our more experienced boarding staff also have permissions to administer children’s prescribed medications.
