Join soprano Christina Pier and baritone Corey McKern on an exploration of Love According to Mozart featuring his best known arias and duets from Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, and more.

From the profound simplicity of Bach and Bruch, to the fireworks of Haydn and Boccherini, cellist Amit Peled presents the full range of the singing cello in Cello Cantabile.

From Appalachian fiddling to reknowned violin classics, violinist James Thompson will take the audience on an exploration of the Violin Journey that spans epochs as well as continents.

Celebrate piano works written by virtuosos for virtuosos with pianist Adam Golka. Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and more legendary pianists explore tension and balance throughout the Depths of the Piano program.

The Asheville Symphony has always strived to present concerts that are inspiring, creative and engaging. This year, in spite of the pandemic, that goal remains the same. We have embraced these challenges to reinvent the symphony concert, to create an entirely new experience that is bold and exciting, reflective of the innovative spirit of our community.

Prepare to be wooed by the cello, dazzled by the violin, awed by the grandeur of the piano, and even to rediscover love through the eyes of Mozart. Four concerts, four centuries of music, over forty different works. Join us on a journey of creativity, excellence and inspiration, as we return to music-making – one note at a time.

Each concert is reimagined as a deep dive into the expressive range and power of a different instrument. All of the programs are expertly curated by our internationally renowned soloists.

We are also partnering with videographer Daniel Judson to bring a behind-the-scenes look at the performances, and the characters who make the magic happen on stage.
