The Redcap

Redcaps are a type of murderous goblin known for dipping their caps in the blood of those they slay. They are also characteised as being fans of war.

In interpreations like that in ‘The Folk of the Air’ series they are said to be built more like an orc than a goblin and have green skin and cat like eyes. They’re teeth are also said to be sharp.

They can be considered the more monstorous of the human like fae from folklore but not the most monstorous by far. In lieu of a cap caked with the blood of many fallen foes I made his hair red.
