Dean's Message

Retirement is not the end of the road. It is the beginning of the open highway- unknown. This is the beginning of the next leg of the relay, so grab your baton and continue the journey.

As we reflect on the memories and impact of the combined two hundred and thirtyeight years of knowledge, expertise, and service, your invaluable dedication to the growth and development of the College of Business and Management (COBAM), the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Ja.), and the region has been instrumental in influencing the success and culture of our University, nation, and region.

We are fortunate to work in an educational institution, that, by the nature of its existence encourages us to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the fore. We will miss your voices and presence in the very spirited discussions.

It is with mixed emotions that we celebrate your retirement, while we are excited to celebrate your many accomplishments and contributions, we are also saddened to see you redeployed. We wish you all the best on the next leg of this relay of life. May you enjoy every moment and embrace all of the new opportunities that come your way. We hope that you will look back on your time with this institution with a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that you have made a lasting impact on our organisation and the future of our nation.

I take this opportunity to thank you, on behalf of the COBAM, the UTech. Ja. Community and all other stakeholders for all that you have done. You have left an indelible mark on our organisation, and your legacy will continue to motivate us for years to come.

Congratulations on your retirement, and may your future be filled with happiness, health, and many wonderful adventures
