Inclement Weather In the event of severe or inclement weather, the Head of School will announce school closings or delays as early as practical. Please make sure you update your student’s emergency contacts in The Wire. Announcements will be made on WFAA-TV Channel 8, WBAP AM 820, KXAS Channel 5 and www.aseschool.org. Given the broad area within the Metroplex from which students come, parents should exercise their own judgment before traveling to school or allowing students to drive to campus.

This year marks the start of some Great Changes on the Great Lawn! You’ll soon notice construction safety fencing around the Burnett Great Lawn and lots of great activities happening within. Thanks to heroic fundraising efforts by our Capital Campaign volunteers, sufficient funds have been raised to begin the first phase of Campaign construction - the Chapel expansion and new Student Union! As a measure of excitement, students from all four Divisions will contribute to art that will hang on the fencing, reminding all who pass by that our goal is in sight and our focus is clear. The cover art is an example of what the students will create.
