Spotter Smart Implant Detector locates dental implants covered by gum tissue quickly and painlessly — no exploratory flap needed! Just move the wand over the site and the Spotter will guide you to the exact center of the implant. Instead of opening a flap to locate the implant, the Spotter finds the exact center quickly, allowing you to punch and reveal only the implant thereby helping to preserve soft tissue and minimize recovery time for the patient. The Spotter is especially helpful in the case of multiple implants when implant sites may be hard to visualize. The Spotter Smart Implant Detector works with any type of titanium implant. It is easy to use, requiring only a few minutes to learn how to operate. The unit operates on one AA battery and its detachable sensing head is autoclavable.
