About ASD
CURRICULUM & GRADING OVERVIEW ASD is a U.S. curriculum school with standards-based grading based on a cumulative year-long calendar. Some electives are semester-based. ASD offers a rigorous selection of courses including twenty-five that are Advanced Placement. Most APs are reserved for grades 11 & 12. All AP classes taken on campus are weighted 0.25. All students enrolled in an AP course are required to write the AP exam. ASD does not offer honors classes, rank, or require community or service learning. A minimum of 25 credits are required for graduation.
