GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS of Class of 2026 students have studied at ASD throughout high school
Founded in 1966, The American School of Dubai is an independent, not-for-profit, U.S. curriculum international school with an inclusive admissions policy. ASD is accredited by Middle States Association (MSACS), and is a member of NESA, MESAC, International ACAC, CIS, and CollegeBoard. Graduates earn a U.S. High School Diploma.
Curriculum & Grading Overview

• Final grades on transcripts upon course completion
• 27 Advanced Placement courses

• No community service requirement
AP CAPSTONE DIPLOMA
A two-year, rigorous program developing research, analysis, and presentation skills. It is earned by completing two core courses, AP Seminar and AP Research, plus four additional AP courses of the student’s choice. GLOBAL
students to develop core competencies and global citizenship skills.
INTERNSHIP
An inquiry-based pedagogical approach that provides opportunities for students to co-construct their learning. They participate in experiential learning, reflect on those experiences to derive meaning, and apply their learning to influence their decisions and actions in various aspects of their lives.
