Accessibility Map & Guide 2024 Ascot Racecourse is proud to provide an accessible environment for all guests
Entry to the Racecourse Seating Guests requiring accessible access can be accommodated at all Racecourse entrances. Once inside, ramps and/or lifts are available to access different areas.
Car parking Blue Badge holders are given forward parking in the car parks, free of charge. These parking areas provide closer proximity to the Racecourse entrances and are subject to capacity on the day. Please request your forward parking space 7 days prior to the event, by email to access.officer@ascot.com attaching a copy of both sides of your Blue Badge, along with the enclosure you will be in.
Terrain The route from the train station has a steep incline so wheelchair users may need extra care. Within the Queen Anne Enclosure there is a small incline from the Plaza Lawns leading to the Parade Ring. All pathways throughout this enclosure are flat level, hard standing. There are lifts to race viewing areas.
A variety of seating options, including sofas, tables and chairs, and picnic style furniture are available across the Racecourse. All of these are offered on a first-come first-served basis. For guests who have difficulty standing and wish to bring a foldable chair, these are allowed in certain enclosures. Please email access.officer@ascot.com in advance of your visit for details.
Toilet facilities Within the Grandstand, there are a number of accessible toilets on each Level. These can be accessed using a RADAR key, available from the nearest steward and some Bet With Ascot kiosks. Other locations include the Pavilion building (AR31) and the Old Paddock Restaurant (AR20).
