AS ALLIANCE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE EMBARKS ON OUR 35TH YEAR, WE’RE PLEASED TO SHARE OUR ANNUAL UPDATE ON THE MANY WAYS WE SHOW UP FOR OUR PARTICIPANTS AS A BRIDGE, SAFE HAVEN, AND COMMUNITY ASSET. We embrace these crucial roles while stretching to meet growing demand for our services as safety-net and public health programs come under assault as never before. In a similar spirit, we’ve always reached far beyond the idea of merely surviving with HIV and other serious health conditions, to thriving. We know that individual and community health flourish through human connection; access to resources; and meaningful opportunities to achieve one’s highest potential.

life-changing services that matter most to our communities: access to quality health care, health care navigation, behavioral health services, nutritional supports, economic mobility opportunities, housing, and more.

change unfolds at each individual’s pace, in tune with their needs and aspirations. Our participants often tell us that Alliance feels like family or home, because people feel seen, heard, and strongly supported here.
+ Alliance is a vital community asset—a trusted resource for New Yorkers coping with HIV, behavioral health challenges, and other health conditions; a leading Health Home care management provider; and a longtime leader in Peer Worker training, workforce readiness, and job placement to increase our participants’ economic mobility.
Alliance puts all the pieces together to provide low-income New Yorkers with the resources to pursue positive change in all its forms.
