We watch American films and TV series, own computers and phones designed in the USA and use many social media platforms invented and developed by Americans. As a result, we often think we know the culture so well that travelling in the USA will be easy.

However, the variation in both culture and scenery is mindblowing. It is important to remember that Americans are in many ways the most diverse people on earth.
