Travel the UK

Norwegians tend to feel close to British culture, through football, TV dramas, music and celebrities. Growing up, we read stories by British authors such as Roald Dahl and J. K. Rowling. Moreover, it is quite easy to travel to London, which is famous for shopping, double-decker buses and the Underground. Still, you might find your hotel stay to be quite different from Norway, with carpets on the floor and hot and cold water in about ten times as many people, and cities such as London are growing at a record pace. This may be one of the reasons for the importance of politeness and order.
