NATIONAL ANTHEM - AMERICAN FORK TRUMPET ENSEMBLE

The American Fork Trumpet Ensemble is composed of students in the American Fork Marching Band. The American Fork H.S. Marching Band has represented Utah in three Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parades and two Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades in New York City. They have placed in finals of the Bands of America Grand Nationals and have been BOA Regional Champions 10 times. They have been an 18 time Utah State Red Rocks Marching Band Champion. They represented the state of Utah in the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Parade and are a recipient of the John Philip Sousa "Sudler Shield."

Section Leaders for the ensemble are Spencer Lloyd, Alex Harvey, and Asher Cammomile. Today the ensemble is under the direction of Bix Hollenbach. The director of bands at American Fork is Orien Landis.

The ensemble is grateful to all of the band parents, staff, faculty, and administration at American Fork who make what they do possible. Special thanks to Principal Peter Glahn, Susan Savage and the Savage Foundation, Alta Bank, Doug Smith, and all those who help to support the students of the American Fork band program.
