BETTER BUYING POWER FOR SCHOOLS

Term 4, 2026 - Spring Issue

Thank you from ASCA As we reach the final ASCA Canteen newsletter for the year, it is an opportunity to reflect on the positive impact our school canteen community continues to make. Every day, school canteens across Australia provide healthy, convenient and affordable food options for students. Behind every order placed is a decision that can benefit not only your school, but the broader school community.

At ASCA, our focus remains on helping schools access savings, rebates, offers and services that support canteen viability and ease financial pressures. Through member purchasing decisions, ASCA helps schools retain valuable funds for education and other priorities. What many people may not realise is that the impact extends even further. Through our supplier partnerships, ASCA has now helped generate more than $11 million for registered Australian charities supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children, creating opportunities through education and support services. As competition for school and canteen business continues to increase, it is worth asking a simple question: Where does your dollar go after you’ve spent it?

While price will always matter, choosing products and suppliers that support your school community through ASCA means your purchasing power contributes to something bigger. It supports member benefits, schoolfocused programs and charitable causes that assist vulnerable children and young people across Australia. This year, we were also pleased to welcome new supplier partners, including Anchor Packaging and Benleigh Vending. I encourage you to explore the ASCA supplier products and offers featured throughout this newsletter and on our website. By supporting the organisations that support ASCA, you help strengthen a model that delivers value to schools while creating positive outcomes for children in need. Thank you for your ongoing support throughout 2026. We wish you, your school communities and families a safe and enjoyable break and look forward to working with you again in the new year. Regards, Christine Bucca Chief Executive Officer
